Website Privacy Notice
This notice covers the deeta.app marketing website — its pages and feedback form — and our waitlists wherever you join one, including the Android waitlist form that appears on a share page. The Deeta app itself, and the share links and sign-in email pages it relies on, are covered by our Privacy Policy.
1. Waitlists
Pre-launch waitlist. If you join the waitlist, your email address is stored with our email provider, Mailchimp, and used to send you news about Deeta. We attach tags that record which page you signed up from, the campaign that brought you to the site, and whether your email address belongs to certain universities. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. If we offer a benefit for joining the waitlist, we may match your waitlist email address to the email on your Deeta account to apply it. We do not sell your email address.
Android waitlist. If you join the Android waitlist, we store your email address and where you signed up (the Android page or a share link) on our own servers, and use it only to tell you when Deeta is available on Android. It is deleted 30 days after we notify you or you unsubscribe, and in any case 12 months after you sign up.
2. The feedback form
If you send feedback through deeta.app/feedback, we store your message, the email address you give us (if any), and the page you came from. The message is emailed to our team through Twilio SendGrid, which receives it along with your email address and that page address. To have your feedback deleted, write to privacy@deeta.app.
3. Analytics and advertising measurement
- Cloudflare Web Analytics runs on every page. It is cookieless and measures page views: which page was viewed, the referring page, and basic browser and device information.
- Metricool loads a small tracking image on our marketing pages to measure visits. Metricool receives your IP address and browser information.
- Meta receives a page-view signal from the home page and our audience pages (such as Deeta for Realtors). Meta receives your IP address and browser information, and in browsers that allow third-party cookies the request can carry Meta's own cookies.
- Ad click measurement. If you arrive by clicking a Meta or TikTok ad, the ad's click identifier is kept in your browser (for 7 days for Meta, 28 days for TikTok). If you then join the waitlist, our server tells Meta or TikTok that a sign-up happened. Meta receives the click identifier, the time, and your browser's user agent; TikTok receives the click identifier, the time, and the address of the page you signed up on. Your email address is never sent to Meta or TikTok.
Our website does not respond differently to "Do Not Track" signals. Browser settings or content blockers that block third-party images and scripts also block Metricool and Meta.
4. Cookies and browser storage
The deeta.app website sets no cookies of its own. It stores a few small values in your browser's local storage: your light or dark theme choice, the campaign that brought you to the site, and any ad click identifier described above. You can clear them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
5. Hosting
The website is served by Cloudflare, which sees each request, including your IP address, and keeps standard request logs for a few days.
6. Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from waitlist emails using the link in any of them. To access or delete what we hold about you from this website, or to exercise your rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, write to privacy@deeta.app; we verify your identity and respond within 30 days.
7. Children
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 in the United States or under 16 elsewhere. If you believe a child has given us information, contact privacy@deeta.app and we will delete it.
8. Changes and contact
If we change this notice, the date at the top will change with it. Questions: privacy@deeta.app.
