How it works
Keep your details updated in Deeta, and everyone you select gets the update automatically.

You share a set of details
Choose what to share — the basics, or a set you built for family or for work — and send the link. What they get is only ever the set you picked.

Something about you changes
You move, switch numbers, change your email. You update it once, in your own profile, the same way you would anyway.

Their copy catches up
Everyone still subscribed sees the new version. No group text announcing your new number, and nobody left holding a dead one.

What live updates do
- Keep the details you chose current on the other person’s device.
- Let you stop, per person and per set, whenever you want.
- Show each person only the set you shared with them.
What they don’t do
- Give anyone a way into the rest of what you keep in Deeta.
- Update anything you didn’t put in the set you shared.
- Send anything anywhere without a share you started.
There are two ways to stop, and they do different things. Stop updating freezes what they have — their copy stays with them, it just never changes again. Revoke takes it back: their copy is removed from their device as it next connects. Neither needs their agreement. Neither can reach a copy they saved somewhere outside Deeta.

Live updates questions
Do I have to re-send when something changes?
No — that is the whole point of it. You change the detail once in your own profile and everyone still subscribed picks it up.
Can I stop sharing with someone?
Yes, at any time, and per person rather than all-or-nothing — and you choose which kind of stop. Stop updating leaves their copy with them, frozen where it is. Revoke takes it back: it is removed from their device as it next connects, and a copy they saved outside Deeta stays theirs. You do not need their agreement either way, and they are not asked to approve it.
Can they see everything in my Deeta?
No. A share carries one set of details — the one you picked when you shared. Nothing else you keep in Deeta is reachable through it, including your notes on other people.
Is this included on the free plan?
Receiving them is, on every plan. If someone shares with you live, their updates reach you for free — you never pay to stay current with the people in your life. Sending them is part of Deeta Pro. On the free plan a share you send is a snapshot: it is accurate the moment you send it and it does not change afterwards. Everything else about sharing works the same, and you can upgrade later without re-sending anything.
What if they are not on Deeta?
When you share, the link takes them to the App Store, where they can get Deeta and be part of the future of relationship intelligence. Receiving live updates is part of the free plan, so staying current with you costs them nothing. And if they would rather not install anything, the same page still saves your details straight to their phone — that copy behaves like any other contact card, and it will not update.

Sending live updates is a Deeta Pro feature; receiving them is free on every plan. We only ever email you about Deeta, and we do not sell or share your information with anyone, ever.
